Balloon Update: The Start of Gaeta V

Late yesterday I took off from Bottenford, Corsica and flew east through the channel of water that connects the continent of Corsica with the continent of Gaeta V--Second Life's seventh of ten continents. This marks my 202nd day of flying towards completing my goal to fly through and chronicle sights from each of Second Life's continents. I'm very happy to get underway on flying through Gaeta V, as it has always been a fairly easy continent to travel through--meaning fewer turbulent sim crossings, less congestion, ban lines, property security issues and the like. I feel it will be a pleasurable trip for the most part, full of decent sight-seeing.

Also in the news is that I'm nearly finished with my book covering my hot air balloon travels through Nautilus. I spent my week in between finishing Corsica and beginning Gaeta V well by getting some good sleep, eating well, going to the gym, mowing, gardening, and working ahead on other projects, and finally, reconnecting with some of my many friends to wish them a happy new year (as I wish you all too!).
